To provide a personalized spiritual experience, we collect several types of information:

Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a unique User ID via Firebase Authentication for account management and cross-device syncing.

Journal & Spiritual Content: Your prayer journal entries, notes, and "Daily Spiritual Bread" saves are private. These are stored locally on your device and may be optionally synced to our secure database (Firebase) to ensure you do not lose your data.

Audio Recordings: If you choose to use the voice-journaling feature, the App collects audio files. These recordings are transmitted and securely stored in Google Firebase Storage. They are private and accessible only to you.

AI Interactions: Text prompts provided to our AI companion are processed via Google’s Gemini API to generate spiritual insights. While these prompts are processed to provide real-time responses, we do not store the history of these AI conversations on our permanent servers after the session is concluded.
2. Automated Data Collection & Third Parties
We utilize industry-standard services to improve app performance and provide content:

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app interactions, navigation patterns) and technical diagnostics to identify and fix bugs.

Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (AD-ID) to show relevant ads and measure performance. PewPal AI uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. To provide personalized advertising and analyze app traffic, Google and its third-party partners may collect and use data from your device, such as your Advertising ID, device identifiers, and usage data.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland Users If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, PewPal AI complies with the Google EU User Consent Policy. You will be presented with a consent form (Consent Management Platform) upon opening the app. You have the right to grant, withhold, or withdraw your consent at any time. If you do not consent to personalized advertising, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to your interests as they will not be based on your past behavior.

Google Play Billing: All financial transactions for "Anointed Pro" subscriptions are handled exclusively by the Google Play Store. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card numbers or banking information.
3. Artificial Intelligence Transparency
In compliance with modern safety standards, users are informed that PewPal AI utilizes third-party AI integrations.

User prompts are processed by AI models to provide biblical context and encouragement.
•
We ensure that no personally identifiable information (PII) is intentionally sent to AI models during these interactions.

Users remain responsible for the content they input into the AI chat.
4. Children’s Privacy & Kids Mode
PewPal AI is designed for a general audience and offers a specific "Kids Mode".

Safety First: Kids Mode provides a filtered, age-appropriate experience.

COPPA Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. Any data collected from minors is strictly limited to what is necessary for app functionality (such as local storage of game scores).

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers.
5. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. All data transmitted off-device (such as journal syncs and audio recordings) is encrypted in transit using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored using secure cloud architecture.

You maintain full ownership of your spiritual data:

Access & Export: You can view and manage your journal entries within the App.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
